How many guests can the cottage hold?: We host intimate weddings of up to 50 guests. Smaller still is always welcome — some of our favorite days have been just twelve people by the lake.
Do you host more than one wedding a day?: Never. The grounds are yours from morning to night, so there is no rushing and no overlap with another celebration.
What is included in a booking?: Every collection includes the lakeside ceremony space, the timber cottage, wooden benches, farm tables, and a getting-ready suite. Reach out and we'll share a full breakdown when you plan a visit.
Can we bring our own vendors?: Yes. We keep an open vendor policy and are happy to share a short list of local favorites for catering, florals, photography, and more.
What seasons are you open?: We host weddings from late spring through mid-autumn, when the northwoods are at their most beautiful. Reach out for current availability.
Is there somewhere to get ready on-site?: The cottage includes a bright getting-ready suite, and there is plenty of room on the grounds for both partners to prepare comfortably.
How do we reserve a date?: A signed agreement and a 25% retainer hold your date. We only take one wedding per day, so dates are first come, first served.
Where exactly are you located?: We are in the Brainerd Lakes area of Minnesota, about two and a half hours north of the Twin Cities. We share the exact address with couples who schedule a visit.
